    1. Un livre qui vous tient du début à la fin: les pages tournent quasiment toutes seules. Un très bon moment de détente

    2. This is my first foray into reading a James Patterson novel. It certainly won't be my last! I loved the fast pace of the book with so much going on. I was hooked from page 1. You cannot beat a good dose of escapism. I liked Jack Morgan and hope he turns up in future books in the series and not just as a cameo. Mr Patterson is a good old fashioned story teller along the lines of Nora Roberts. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

    3. I got this book for my son who is a huge James Patterson fan. What strikes him about this book is that, unlike previous Patterson books he's read which clue the reader in fairly early on as to whodunit while the characters try to solve the mystery, this one leaves the reader as much in the dark as the characters, which makes it a real page turner. My son is a teenager, and I appreciate that Patterson's books are gripping and exciting with a minimum of bad language or sexual content.

    4. Captivating from start to finish. James Patterson churns them out like a machine. I suspect his coauthor does most of the writing. I liked the characters. Jack is a tourtured veteran and so is Del Rio. They function as a team and run the PI firm, Private. All the cases were diabolical.

    5. I thought that it was really good reading. There was more than one story going, but yet it was easy to follow. Not sure how much of it was actually written bu Patterson, but it was still pretty good.

    6. For the reader who's serious about real history, this day to day account of the real life of an American Soldier in the combat of World War II is unsurpassed. For the author doesn't wax poetic for the generally assumed romanticism of the 'good war' but rather gives a hour by hour account of the sordid ugliness, ineptitude, and downright stupidity of modern warfare. The tone is neither pro nor anti war, but rather the honest voice of a single soldier's reporting of the day to day drudgery, and [...]

    7. Good read adusual from James Patterson! Recommend his books to anyone who like mysteries! I've read others of the Private series and have enjoyed them all!
